Phnom Penh, an Orientation and Theresien Strasse are accordion books in the style of Hedi Kyle. Workshop is a study of my husband Wolfgang’s workshop with text from his island log. Persian Bread is a folded piece of family history, the first time my children met their Grandmother in Iran. It’s a glimpse of Persian culture in the description of a breakfast. Eastern Washington is an exploration of what it feels like to drive in the majestic space that exists past Clem Elum. Wild Light is a tribute to my family’s relationship with the Olympic Peninsula.

Deconstructions and Remains is an investigation of abandoned buildings in the vicinity of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, shot during May of 2015.

The Invisible City book is a collection of travel photographs with quotes from Italo Calvino’s book of the same name.

Visible Cities is a collection of images and ideas about architecture and space. It is an examination of context—how our perceptions of the built environment influence our experiences. Personal narrative and travel photographs illustrate concepts relating the psychology of space.

The photographs in Walk/City/Walls and In Context explore figure ground relationships within the city of Vancouver. These particular images were shot during 2016, the beginning of my explorations into the city where I live now.
