Invisible Cities and Visible Cities
Like Marco Polo, the street photographer collects fragments of the passing scene and offers a view that is both a study and an interpretation. Because all photographs are selections, each split second moment contains a glimpse of the invisible city that exists in the photographer's mind. The Invisible City book is a collection of travel photographs with quotes from Italo Calvino’s book of the same name.
Visible Cities is a collection of images and ideas about architecture and space. It is an examination of context—how our perceptions of the built environment influence our experiences. Personal narrative and travel photographs illustrate concepts relating the psychology of space.
